![]() ![]() Ponies are of course panicking and they think that Twilight would know what to do. When Twilight wakes up, both the sun and the moon are in the sky. Celestia leaves Twilight's room and gets attacked by a tendril vine thingy. The mailpony comes in and has a letter for Twilight, it happens to be from Pinkie reassuring her as well. Well, this makes Equestrian moons even more confusing, but whatever. Princess Celestia comes in and calms Twilight down, and then we learn that this is exactly one year after the return of Nightmare Moon. When Spike suggests they take a visit to Ponyville, we see that Twilight's neurosis is still intact. The rest of the Mane Five leave and Twilight and Spike go about their day, getting ahead of schedule. The rest of the Mane Six have to go back home to Ponyville and there's some nice emotional moments and some callbacks to help remind people of important details about the show, you know, like a season premiere is supposed to do. Rainbow Dash: I don't know if it's every pony's dream. Rarity: It's everypony's dream to someday wear a crown and have their coronation ceremony preserved in stained glass for all to see. Hey, remember that Rarity wanted to be a princess at one point. Rarity: They really captured your regality. We cut to see Twilight's stained glass window in the castle. (a point is added) So apparently, the Summer Sun Celebration is coming up and Twilight needs to prepare to do her part. You know what? Addressing a concern like that is definitely worth the point. And then Applejack of all ponies calls Twilight a princess and Twilight tells them that she's uncomfortable with that. The episode starts with Rainbow Dash teaching Twilight how to fly, or at least trying to. (Five exclamation points appear) Wow, that title gives "Magic Duel" a run for its money. And we've waited long enough, let's dig right into "Princess Twilight Sparkle". If you don't, you'll learn them sooner or later. Unlike most unicorns who specialize in one specific type of magic, Twilight Sparkle excels in a vast variety and knows multiple spells. It's good to be back.Twilight Sparkle's mother resembles the original first generation pony Twilight. In the first season of the show, Twilight Sparkle was light purple and had a long tail, however her coat darkens and her tail shrinks throughout the show.Twilight Sparkle is a completely new pony, seeing as her name, appearance, and personality bear no resemblance to ponies from previous My Little Pony generations. When this happens, she tries to solve her problems with magic and things she's read instead of relying on her friends, making any issues she had formerly grow exponentially. Her nervousness can take a hard grip on her and amplify her almost non-existent social skills. Twilight Sparkle is known to freak out and have anxiety attacks that affect everyone around her when she knows that the princess will be stopping by. This can be an issue for Twilight Sparkle, as it can make her seem very selfish and bring out her more negative traits. She values Princess Celestia very highly and only accepts perfection in an effort to please the princess. Because of Twilight Sparkle's need to succeed and vast intelligence, she is also insanely organized. She has an intense need and thirst for knowledge, primarily when it comes to magic and learning her limits. She takes things seriously, almost to a fault, but does all that she can to look out for her friends. Twilight Sparkle is a very well educated pony and is the one with the most formal education of the mane cast. The game is more of a story book where Twilight reads the story to the player, each story telling about Equestria and give life lessons at the end. In her first game appearance, My Little Pony: Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day, she takes on the role of narrator. Due to this, Celestia declares Twilight a princess, turning her into an alicorn (a type of pony bearing a horn and wings.) As part of her new position, Twilight continues her residence in Ponyville from the Castle of Friendship, eventually becoming a tutor to Starlight Glimmer. In the show's Season 3 finale, "Magical Mystery Cure", Princess Celestia determines that Twilight has successfully accomplished her training. Her home is a rather large tree in the middle of town that also functions as a library. After moving in as the town's resident librarian alongside her apprentice Spike, Twilight quickly encounters five ponies who become her closest friends in the town of Ponyville. At the start of the animated series My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Twilight's mentor, Princess Celestia, instructs Twilight to move to Ponyville, hoping for her to expand her magical abilities and learn more about friendship. She hails from Canterlot, the capital of Equestria. Originally a unicorn, Twilight Sparkle is a young purple pony with a navy blue mane and a pink streak. ![]()
